Forex Investors Welcome President Obama

The U.S. dollar (USD) soared today as the world welcomed the 44th president of the United States, Barack Obama.

President Obama's promises to do everything he can to stimulate the U.S. economy, to improve government programs that work and to cut government programs that don't and to reach out to the rest of the world rang true in the ears of many forex investors around the globe who responded by buying the USD.

We'll have to see how long the euphoria lasts, but today's move has put the USD securely back on course to continue moving higher.
